I’m Megan, a 23 year old wife and dog mom to Lily. My husband and I started dating in 2019 and got married in 2024, he is hands down my best friend and biggest supporter. I was born and raised right here in Oregon and am a cowgirl at heart. I love anythinggggg outdoors, and absolutely thrive in summer. Hiking, fishing, camping, paddle boarding, if it involves being out in nature I’m down. Give me enough time to grab a blended strawberry peach rebel from Dutch and I’ll meet you there. Don’t get me wrong though, I also lovvveee a quiet night at home. If it's past 6:00pm I’m probably cuddled up on the couch watching Food Network or How I Met Your Mother for the 6578th time. When I’m not out adventuring in the forest, wrapped up on my couch, or capturing the moments of my beautiful clients, you can find me frying cannoli and assembling endless tiramisu at the, in my opinion, best Italian bakery in Portland. I’ve worked there for a little over six years, and while I love being a full time pastry chef, I’m jumping head first into chasing this dream.
So you might be wondering, if I love being a pastry chef, why photography? Being a photographer is a dream that’s lived in the back of my mind since high school. My parents bought me my first DSLR when I was a sophomore (rest in peace to my Nikon D3400) and that thing went everywhere with me. I’m talking about endless spur of the moment photoshoots with my best friends, and countless events for my high school. But long before I was a teenager my dad taught me the importance of capturing life’s moments. He has thousands and thousands of photos on a hard drive not only from my childhood but from before I was even born that I absolutely love to look through. He always had a camera in his hands and if it wasn’t in his hands, it was in mine. So here I am, ready with a camera in my hands to capture all of the important moments in your life.
